Hi there! My name is Penny and I’m a mother of twins who is relentlessly curious and loves questioning the status quo.

Wonderland Kindergarten is born out of my belief – which is backed by research – that nature play creates children that are emotionally regulated, and interested and engaged in the world around them. In this way it creates conditions for children to thrive emotionally, physically and intellectually.

This matters to me on a personal level, as a mother of two young girls. And it matters to me on a community level as a member of society, looking to create positive impact and to foster connected communities.

Wonderland Kindergarten is the childcare option I wanted for my children when they were younger. When I realised it didn’t exist, I decided to become the person to create it.

To bring the concept of Wonderland Kindergarten to life, I have drawn on my arts & design background and experience building collaborative communities.
